Love for the Season
Here at a Risk a Day headquarters, we have enjoyed time celebrating Christmas, meanwhile letting a Risk a Day lapse a few days. We hope you have a great time celebrating Christmas / New Year holidays with loved ones, and taking everyday risks in your walk with Christ!
Since this is a hard time of year for many, today's risk is to spend 10-15 minutes with someone who is lonely this season, has lost a loved one this year, is elderly or is just not at peace.

Save a fiver.... Explanation and start-up
"Save a fiver" is and will be a regular feature on A Risk A Day. Each of these risks will involve foregoing a regular purchase or expense (of about $5) in a focused and intentional effort to put those resources to better use for Kingdom ministry. This risk will only be a once or twice a month occurrence.
In order for this to be a simple and successful daily risk, you will first need to determine a method by which the "fiver" you save can be transfered from it's usual purpose to a more worthy cause of your choosing.
The two most obvious methods are to set aside an envelope or similar place into which your $5 can be physically placed until you have determined where the Lord is leading you to give. The other - for those who use non-cash methods of payment - is to set up a sub account at your bank to which you can transfer and hold this amount for future use.
Your risk today is to determine the method that works best for you...
