The freedom to choose is a wonderful thing that God gives us. Yet when God tells us to do something, we use that gift against him. This is what Jonah did when God told him to go to Nineveh. Ironically, God then used a storm and a whale (two things that had no freedom to choose) to bring Jonah to a place of surrender.
Today’s Risk: Thank God for your freedom: choose to obey God.
